We will pick the Accra group up and depart to Root Yard guesthouse after lunch. After check in we will relax under shady mango trees with fresh organic fruit juice. After dinner we will be entertained with movies on a projector as we prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2Tafi Monkey Sanctuary

Day-2 We will depart shortly after breakfast to the Monkey sanctuary and feed them bananas for breakfast. The monkeys are more friendly when you have bananas and they climb on you and eat the fruit from your hands. We will also enjoy a history talk about the sacred Mona monkeys. From there we will head out to Likpe Todome and see the historical caves. Up on top of the hill, which is geographically in Togo, you can see Togo villages. We will end the day at Big Foot Safari Lodge which will be our home for the next two nights.

Day-3 A challenging morning today! We will hike the highest mountain in Ghana. At the height of 885m above sea level you will get a better view of Volta and Togo villages and surrounding mountains. After descending we will hike to the base of West Africa’s highest waterfall and refresh ourselves under the 40m fall. We will return to Big Foot safaris for a bonfire and BBQ night.

There is also a nightclub next door to go to if you feel like it.
