This trip has got a bit of adventure, festival/beach party and relaxation. Heading to one of the finest, hideout beaches in Ghana and with a wide stretch of clean white sand, Busua Beach offers the best spot for surfing, sun bathing and sea turtles watching at night. A morning trek to the colorful Discove village and Cape Three point will add to the adventure.
Cape Coast – Oasis Beach Car Park
Expect a good time!! From start to finish there will be banter, laughter, new sites to explore and mini-adventures. Surfing, Sea turtles watching, visit to Cape Three Point and Fort Metal Cross, Disco Party and Sun bathing.
Our truck will pick the group up at Oasis car park at 1400h and we will travel two hours to Busua beach in the western region of Ghana. Once we check in and have dinner we will join the One Dance festival and chill out for the night.
After breakfast we will be met by our surfing instructor for some basic surfing lessons before going out into the sea. We will spend the rest of the day surfing and also play some card games. In the evening we will walk on the shores to find some sea turtles. This is a location where sea turtles arrive and lay their eggs. We will also see the Fort Metal Cross established by the Prussians in 1683. From there we will return for dinner and after some rest join the final procession of the ASA BAKO festival.
We will have a gentle start to day. We will have breakfast and pack up for departure. We will drive through the next village to see the southernmost point of Ghana- Cape three point. We will also drive through Ghana’s largest rubber plantation as we exit Cape three point. We continue our journey to Cape Coast and arrive before dark. Our last stop is the same as the pick up point.
